While the KPMG company estimates the market value of Kylian Mbappé at 180 million euros, PSG for their part intends to hit the jackpot when the French international leaves next summer.
What if this 2020/2021 season was Kylian Mbappé’s last at PSG? The more time goes by, the bigger this possibility seems to be, and especially in Spain, where we keep pointing out that the French international is Real Madrid’s big dream in terms of recruitment. Indeed, the Merengues would like to make the former Monegas the figurehead of their project for the next few years and would therefore have planned their offensive to snatch him away from PSG in the summer of 2021, if Kylian Mbappé will only do one-year deal. Of course, if the Frenchman carries on in Paris, Real Madrid’s task will be more complicated, even if the player is always on a deaf ear for the suggestions of his leaders at the moment. However, according to the latest information from Spain, this is not the only difficulty that Casa Blanca may encounter.
Kylian Mbappé, the most expensive future transfer in history?
As AS reported this Saturday, the auditing company KPMG estimates the market value of Kylian Mbappé at € 180 million. However, this is only theoretical, and practice with regard to the transmission window is very often far from theoretical considerations. As the Spanish daily notes, when a player arrives a year after the end of the contract, the buying club’s interest is always to recruit him for an amount below his market value. In the case of Kylian Mbappé, this would mean a price between € 130 million and € 150 million. An amount that will not be willing to accept PSG to believe AS, which explains that, on the contrary, the capital’s club would intend to hit the jackpot in the event of their child prodigy being eliminated. There is no question of negotiating for less than the € 180million invested in 2017 or the € 222million paid out to snatch Neymar from FC Barcelona: if PSG lets Kylian Mbappé go, he’ll have to justify it by saying that Transfer will be the most expensive of history. It remains to be seen if Real Madrid will be able to pay such an amount in a few months for a player who, strong as he is, will only be a year after his lease expires.
