Looking for offensive reinforcements this summer, PSG have secured Moise Kean’s services in the final hours of the transfer window. But before that, Leonardo tried another blow.
This summer, Leonardo was not lacking in projects to strengthen Paris Saint-Germain in a transfer window badly affected by the health crisis. In particular, offensive reinforcements had to be found to compensate for the departures of Edinson Cavani, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, but also of Arnaud Kalimuendo, who were loaned to RC Lens. With that in mind, PSG welcomed Moise Kean in the final hours of Everton’s transfer window in the form of a loan with no purchase option while Rafinha landed in the field too.
PSG tried the coup for Lozano
Previously, Leonardo had taken a close look at the market and especially the Serie A as usual. According to Tuttosport, PSG tried to get the loan from Hirving Lozano. But Naples, who invested 42 million euros in recruiting the Mexican winger from PSV Eindhoven a year ago, quickly scraped the club out of the capital. “Under these conditions we will keep it,” Aurelio De Laurentiis, President of Napoli, would even have said behind the scenes. “If you leave it to me I’ll put it back in and make it a holder,” said Gennaro Gattuso. Sheffield United have also reportedly tried their luck with no success.
