PSG had long been heralded in the search for a new left wing over the past few months in Theo Hernandez’s footsteps. Leonardo attempted that blow at AC Milan, but the player’s price eventually put a brake on the operation.

Despite PSG renewing Layvin Kurzawa’s contract last June, Leonardo kept an XXL target on the transfer market and was looking to finalize a new left-back recruitment.
