Looking for a right to compensate for Bouna Sarr’s departure, OM might well be content to hit the winter transfer window.
In the final hours of the transfer window, Olympique de Marseille let Bouna Sarr go to Bayern Munich for 10 million euros. A situation that forced Pablo Longoria to look for a new right-back before the transfer window closed. Joakim Maehle almost came to OM, but Genk derailed the deal at the last moment. Consequently, the recruitment of a Joker who plays in Ligue 1 was considered.
No placeholder to replace Sarr?
As announced exclusively by le10sport.com, the track leading to Kenny Lala has been restarted while interest in Fabien Centonze is also being targeted. But Bernard Serin, President of FC Metz, finished this file on the microphone of Téléfoot La Chaine: “An offer from OM? Absolutely not. He (Centonze ndlr) has signed a five-year contract, he still has four years with us. He is in progress, he is good with us and we are counting on him. In other words, OM will likely have to wait for the winter transfer window to pull in a right side.
